Join us for a walking tour of Manhattan’s Carnegie Hill neighborhood, home to Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. New York City expert historian Keith Taillon will share the fascinating history of Cooper Hewitt’s neighborhood and inhabitants.

On our walk around Carnegie Hill, we'll examine what's left of the neighborhood Mr. Carnegie would have known during his lifetime. We'll look at surviving mansions and infrastructure, and discuss the history of Central Park, the New York Central Railroad, and the Yorkville neighborhood.

Please note that the walking tours are ticketed separately from the History of Carnegie Hill Lecture on Friday, October 21.
