Description

Join us as we go behind the scenes with CW&T, winner of the 2022 National Design Award for Product Design. A design firm that started as and remains a two-person practice, CW&T’s work spans from interactive software to human-scaled tools that enhance our relationships to work, life, and time. Projects range from devices that alter the perception of time, an electronics curriculum for artists, an astrological compass for space travelers, to objects engineered to last multiple generations.

Founders Che-Wei Wang and Taylor Levy will share more about the formation of their firm, the ethos and mission behind their work, as well as the unique premise of living and working in their home studio. The duo will tour attendees through their Brooklyn studio, where they live and design and produce all their work. During the welcoming Open Design Office Hours portion, attendees are invited to share any products or concepts they’ve been working on for thoughts and constructive feedback from Che-Wei and Taylor as well as fellow attendees.
